Why choose Le Perceur auger bits?

Le Perceur auger bits are engineered to deliver dependable performance, even in the most demanding drilling conditions. Every component is designed to improve auger strength, drilling efficiency and equipment protection.

Choose an auger bit engineered to perform efficiently in the toughest ground conditions.

Engineered for difficult ground conditions

The unique cutting tooth holder arrangement was developed by our operators to break through difficult ground more efficiently while reducing drilling resistance.

Carbide cutting teeth

All of our augers feature premium carbide cutting teeth designed for efficient ground penetration and long-lasting performance in demanding working conditions.

Efficient spoil removal

The single-flight auger provides additional space for rocks, concrete fragments, bricks and other debris to be carried efficiently to the surface.

Reinforced core

Each auger is built around a 4" diameter pipe with a 3/4" wall thickness, creating an exceptionally strong core that is highly resistant to twisting.

Driveline protection

The connector is engineered to separate from the auger in the event of excessive torque, helping prevent damage to the drive shaft.

Interchangeable pilot

The interchangeable pilot makes it easier to adapt the auger bit to changing ground conditions and specific drilling applications.

Standard or Heavy Duty auger bits

Standard and Heavy Duty auger bits are designed for different applications. Choosing the right model depends primarily on soil conditions, usage frequency and the level of durability required.

Standard model

An ideal solution for everyday drilling applications and predictable ground conditions.

Heavy Duty model

A reinforced design intended for demanding applications and operators requiring maximum durability in the toughest ground conditions.

How do you choose the right auger bit?

Choosing the right auger bit starts with understanding the type of ground you will be drilling. Soft soil presents different challenges than rocky or frozen ground.

You should also consider the required hole diameter, drilling depth and frequency of use. Our auger bits are available in diameters ranging from 4" to 36", with 4 ft and 6 ft lengths depending on the selected profile.

For routine work in normal conditions, a Standard auger bit is often the right choice. For heavy-duty applications or particularly challenging ground, a Heavy Duty model is generally the better option.

Our team can help you select the right auger based on your equipment, your application and the ground conditions you encounter.

Main applications for auger bits

With multiple diameters, profile options and duty ratings available, Le Perceur auger bits are suitable for a wide variety of applications, including :

Selecting the right combination of diameter, length and profile improves drilling efficiency while reducing stress on your equipment.
